Changmin was fine without a mate; he had been okay ever since he became a werewolf. But little did he expect his world to turn upside down when he finally met his mate.

Genre: Drama, Fluff, ot5 (Changmin-centric, Changmin/FOC, Yunjae, Everyone loves Junsu)

Chapters: Chapter 1, Chapter 2, Chapter 3, Chapter 4Chapter 5, Chapter 6, Chapter 7Chapter 8

This is more of a cute fluff chapter, but who doesn’t love fluffy ot5 moments? 🙂 And of course, who doesn’t love fluffy Yunjae? ❤

Not related to the chapter, but who went to Music Bank in Singapore? 🙂 I couldn’t afford the tickets so I didn’t get to go 😦 But it’s okay, I’ll save up more money and one day I’ll get to attend a concert! 😀

Comments and reviews are appreciated! 🙂

The next day could not have come any sooner for Changmin. He had spent the whole night fussing over it and did not get much sleep. Wolf was definitely not happy this morning, he had snapped at Junsu’s wolf when he tried to wake Changmin up. He could feel the pack’s concern for him, but he was determined to solve his own problem by himself this time.

He knew that all eyes were on him when he went for breakfast that morning, but he was not going to budge. ‘We solve this gumiho problem together as a pack first. There’s no way I can let them be distracted just before we go to see the Marrock.’ Wolf obviously did not agree with his decision, but he respected it anyway. No one asked him anything; they did not have to. But Changmin was grateful for that, it just meant that he would not have to stumble over his words trying to come up with a good lie.

“Eat up, you’ll need your strength.” It was not the first time the pack is going to see the Marrock, and he knew that they were going to travel there as wolves. The journey was long, considering that the Marrock lived a couple of hours away from them, but this was a better travelling mode than flying. The last time the pack tried to fly there together was a disaster. Apparently, the airport staff did not trust that these pretty boys were part of a kpop group (“I told you that was a stupid explanation!” Jaejoong just glared at him the whole time they were in the police station.) and Yunho had to call the Marrock to bail them all out. He could still remember Kangin’s amused face, Yunho’s sheepish grin and Kyuhyun’s teasing for the next few weeks.

No matter how troubled he was, Changmin was not one to reject Jaejoong’s cooking. The kitchen was Jaejoong’s heaven and Changmin knew that anyone who messed it up would rather go to hell than go through Jaejoong’s punishment. Last year, Yunho tried to be romantic and bake his mate a cake on their anniversary, only to burn the oven and mess the whole kitchen up. (“It looked like a hurricane came in and swept everything.” According to Yoochun.)

Without surprise, it was an understatement to say that Jaejoong was pissed. He was so upset that the usually calm and authoritative Alpha had to beg (“Well, Jae is the only one that can make Yunho beg for anything to be honest.” Junsu stated. “I’ve never seen Yunho whine like that before.”) for forgiveness for almost two weeks. Needless to say, Jaejoong immediately forgave Yunho when the Alpha bought him tons of elephant plushies (“Using my money!!!” Yoochun shrieked.) and covering the whole living room in roses. Changmin saw himself as a victim throughout those two weeks, considering that they had to survive on Yunho’s cooking (“Hey! It’s not that bad…is it?” Yunho smacked the maknae’s head.) and thanked the gods for protecting him and his stomach.

Jaejoong’s kimchi jiggae was the best comfort food that helped lift Changmin’s spirits whenever he was upset. Luckily for him, Jaejoong seemed to have read his mind and cooked a huge pot full of goodness. Not waiting for anything or anyone, Changmin’s chopsticks swiftly grabbed a bunch of kimchi and tofu before stuffing his face full of it. Wolf let out a loud sigh of contentment as Changmin gobbled up his first bowl of rice, causing Yoochun to chuckle and Junsu to huff in disgust.

“Min! That’s disgusting!” Junsu whined as bits of rice flew onto his face. Not caring one bit, Changmin stuffed the rest of his rice into his mouth.

“Fomemore fleae,” he pushed the bowl towards Jaejoong.

“Min. Go get your own.” Yunho clicked disapprovingly while Jaejoong took the bowl from him. “It’s fine. Eat more.” His mate placed a hand on the Alpha’s shoulder before smiling widely at the youngest. Jaejoong was always happiest when the pack liked his food and he tended to spoil them all by cooking their favourite dishes regularly.

Even without rice, Changmin did not see why he should stop eating. Snatching the slice of pork that Junsu was reaching out for, Changmin quickly stuffed it into his mouth before the latter can react.

“My meat!” Junsu shrieked. “You…you meat thief!” He ungraciously launched himself into the air, throwing his whole weight onto the younger. Luckily for Changmin, his reflexes were fast enough to avoid being squashed like a pancake and he swiftly grabbed more meat while blocking Junsu’s attacks. Yoochun had tumbled onto the floor while clutching his stomach, laughing until there were tears in his eyes. Yoohwan, on the other hand, whipped out his phone and started to record the whole thing to use as blackmail material someday. Junsu continued chasing Changmin around the dining table, using his chopsticks to stab the air wildly.

“Min, your rice.” Unfortunately for Jaejoong, Changmin managed to duck just in time before Junsu’s chopsticks hit him, causing Junsu to stab Jaejoong in the face just as he came out of the kitchen.

For a second, everyone just froze. Changmin would have laughed his head off at Junsu’s shocked expression if the situation was different. Yoochun stopped mid-laugh and his mouth was hanging wide open. Yoohwan immediately hid his phone while eyeing the trio cautiously. Jaejoong glared daggers at the two youngest members as he slowly placed the bowl of rice on the table.

“Are you idiots?” The eldest member hissed at them. “How many times have I told you not to mess around while you are eating?”

Sweat started forming on Changmin’s forehead and he started glancing at the Alpha for help. Yet, Yunho seemed to be unaffected by what was going on and continued eating his breakfast peacefully. Realising that he needed to step in before hell broke loose, Yunho grinned widely while slipping an arm around Jaejoong’s waist. “Jae! Breakfast is great as always, come sit down and eat with me.”

Instantaneously, Jaejoong’s mood turned 180 degrees as he smiled affectionately at the Alpha. “Of course.” He shot the duo one last piercing glare before sitting back down and giving Yunho a quick peck on his lips.

‘You owe me one.’ Yunho’s voice rang in his mind and he could see the Alpha’s teasing smile. Changmin quickly grabbed his rice and returned a grateful look to the elder.

‘Remind me never to mess with Jaejoong.’ Wolf shuddered.

When Jin falls sick

What happens when the oldest member of Bangtan falls sick but tries to keep it to himself.

Genre: Fluff, Fainting, OT7, Everyone loves Jin

Pairing: Namjin (though not mentioned explicitly), Jinkook (not mentioned too hehe), more of a OT7 fanfic

Hello! 😀 So this is actually my first attempt at a BTS fanfic, so comments are definitely appreciated so I can improve! 🙂 Hope you like it, and do check out my other fics too!

When he woke up that morning, he knew that something was not right. His head was throbbing, his throat was scratchy and everything hurt. Pulling himself out of bed with a groan, Jin rubbed his temples and he squeezed his eyes shut as the sudden motion made him dizzy.

No, I can’t be sick. Not now. They were going to have their concert in a few days time and he knew that everyone had been looking forward to it. He did not want to be the one to ruin it all for the rest of the band.

Jin shuffled his feet into the kitchen, hands moving instinctively on their own to grab ingredients for breakfast. A full day of rehearsals and sound tests lie ahead of them, and they needed the energy to function. Sighing to himself, Jin closed his eyes again, trying to stop the pounding in his head. No luck.

“Hyung? Are you okay?” A worried voice entered the kitchen. Startled, Jin jumped when a hand was placed on his shoulders.

“I’m fine, Joon. Just…tired.” He gave the younger the biggest smile he could manage.

The younger was not convinced. “You look a little paler than usual. Are you sick?” Namjoon brought a hand up to the eldest’s forehead.

Jin almost purred in contentment at how good Namjoon’s cold hand felt against his skin. “I…I’m fine. Not sick.” Pushing the leader out of the kitchen, he forced Namjoon onto the sofa. “Just wait here. Breakfast will be done soon, I don’t want you to break anything in my kitchen.”

That seemed to do the trick as the younger man simply huffed “Fine” before promptly lying on the sofa, with no further intention of moving.

Jin couldn’t help but grimace as another wave of dizziness hit him. He held himself steady with the kitchen counter and took deep breaths. This was going to be a long day.

By the time the others woke up, Jin was already setting up the table for breakfast. “Hyung! Good morning!” Taehyung grinned his usual boxy smile as he launched himself onto Jin’s back. Jin gasped loudly as black spots started clouding his vision the moment the younger landed on his back. He staggered slightly with the extra load.

“Jin hyung? Are you okay?” Taehyung immediately unlatched himself from the other and peered into Jin’s face with concern. His hyung has never struggled with supporting his weight on his back, so when Jin staggered, alarm bells started ringing in Taehyung’s head.

Jin took a deep breath to steady himself before answering the younger. “I’m fine, Taetae.” He tried to give the younger a comforting smile as he ruffled his hair. “Go have your breakfast.”

Not wanting to disobey his hyung, Taehyung nodded and started pestering his next victim. The maknae was clearly still half-awake as he hadn’t noticed Taehyung smirking devilishly in the corner. Without warning, Taehyung launched himself onto the unsuspecting maknae with a loud roar. Jungkook yelped in surprise and immediately started tackling the other onto the floor.

“Guys, not so loud.” Jin winced as the loud noises from the living room caused his headache to get even worse (if that is even possible). Unfortunately, the two troublemakers didn’t seem bothered and continued with their antics. Taehyung started screaming and giggling as Jungkook overpowered him and started tickling his sides.

Just as Jin was about to ask them to quieten down once more, Namjoon stood up from the couch and whacked them both on their heads. “Yah! Jin hyung told you to quieten down. Why are you not listening?” Almost instantly, both Taehyung and Jungkook stopped their actions and bowed their heads guiltily.

“Sorry hyung.” Taehyung grinned widely. “You’re not angry at us right?”

“No, not angry.” Just very tired and dizzy. Jin tried to shake his head but immediately regretted it. He couldn’t focus on anything and everything started swaying.

Jungkook noticed Jin’s unsteady stance and rushed forward to support him before the eldest fell. “Hyung!” The maknae supported Jin and gently lowered him onto the seat. “Hyung, are you okay?”

Jin felt a pang in his heart when he saw the frightened and concerned looks in his member’s eyes. “I’m okay, really.” Jin gently patted Jungkook’s head. “Go get the others out for breakfast okay, Kookie?” The maknae just stared at him before nodding silently.

“Hyung, are you sick? I can call manager to reschedule if you are.” Namjoon sat next to Jin and took his hand. Jin silently cursed himself for letting the others worry about him. “I said I’m fine. Just…just drop it okay?” Jin whispered back as the rest of the group started streaming in.

“Smells good hyung!” Hoseok quickly grabbed his chopsticks and stuffing his face. Jin smiled slightly as he saw the members digging into the japchae he made before a sharp pain in his head made him wince once more.

“Jin hyung, you’re not eating?” Yoongi eyed Jin’s empty bowl suspiciously. “I…I’m not hungry. I ate when I was cooking.” Jin lied. Truth was, his stomach was so queasy that he wasn’t sure he could keep any food down. As Yoongi continued to stare doubtfully at Jin, he sighed and stood up. “I’ll wait in the car for you guys. Enjoy breakfast.” He quickly walked out of the dorm before they could question him further. He had never been able to hide anything from Yoongi (who could see past his lies easily). It’s only a couple more hours to go. You can do it, Jin. He thought to himself as he dozed off leaning against the car window.

I can’t do it.

It had been two hours into stage rehearsals and Jin was about to collapse. The bright stage lights were too disorientating for him and everything was blurry. He tripped over himself again as he tried to focus on the loud music booming around him. Suddenly, the music stopped and Jin raised his head in surprise. “Jin hyung, are you okay? You made the same mistake again.” Hoseok came over and patted his back gently.

Blinking his eyes slowly as he tried to process the younger’s words, he nodded. Truth was, he couldn’t feel his feet and it felt like someone was pounding his head repeatedly. “Break?” Hoseok asked as the rest of the members started walking to the backstage to rest. Jin nodded silently again as Hoseok smiled encouragingly at him. “Come on, hyung. We should go drink some water.”

He tried to focus on Hoseok’s back as the younger walked towards the others and follow him. But his body wouldn’t listen to him and a wave of dizziness overcame him. All of a sudden, the floor seemed to be moving closer and closer. The last thing he heard was someone shouting “Hyung!” before darkness consumed him.

Namjoon had been keeping an eye on Jin since morning. He had his suspicions that the older male was sick, but since Jin wanted him to drop the matter, he did. But when he saw how Jin’s legs gave up under him as he crumpled onto the ground painfully, he couldn’t stop himself from shouting.

“Hyung!” All the members immediately turned their heads around. Namjoon never had good hand and leg coordination, but in that instant, he rushed towards their eldest member at record speed.

“Jin hyung?” Namjoon gently lifted his head to inspect for any injuries. Luckily, Jin did not seem to have hit his head when he fell.

“What happened? Is Jin hyung going to be okay?” Jimin asked anxiously as he crouched next to Namjoon.

“Namjoon ah, we should carry him backstage for him to rest.” Yoongi placed a hand on the leader’s shoulder. Hearing that, Jimin quickly helped to support Jin’s body and placed him onto Namjoon’s back. The eldest was breathing heavily and a frown was etched on his face.

They quickly carried him and placed him onto the sofa in their changing room backstage. Jungkook grabbed some tissues and started to wipe the sweat off of Jin’s forehead. “Namjoon hyung, what happened?”

“I’m not sure exactly, but I think Jin hyung has been sick since this morning. He suddenly fainted just now when we were heading for our break.” Namjoon frowned. Taehyung must have noticed as he grabbed onto Namjoon’s hand.

“Hyung, it’s not your fault. We all didn’t notice it.” Namjoon simply smiled gently as he squeezed Taehyung’s hand tigher, prompting a boxy grin from the younger.

The moment was cut short as a groan was heard. The boys immediately dropped everything and ran towards Jin. “Hyung? How are you feeling?” Jungkook, who was sitting closest to Jin, helped to support him up. He felt as if he had just finished one of their 12 hour long dance practices. Leaning heavily onto the maknae, he could feel the youngest’s cool hand on his forehead.

“I think he has a slight fever.” Jungkook told Namjoon, who nodded and stood up. Jin could hear Namjoon and Yoongi talking in the background with their managers, but he couldn’t focus on anything as a feeling of nausea swept by. He grimaced, which was spotted by Hoseok.

“He should drink some water. Here.” He could hear Hoseok’s worried voice somewhere near him, but he couldn’t get his vision to focus enough to make out where the members were. “Hyung, open your mouth.” Jimin gently tipped the water bottle near Jin’s lips. A small whine escaped his lips as the cool liquid flowed into his mouth. He felt slightly better and could feel Jungkook gripping onto his back slightly tighter.

“Does he need the hospital?” Yoongi whispered softly. The managers frowned. “It’s probably just fatigue. He won’t need the hospital.” One of them waved his hand dismissively. “You guys should go home and rest. The concert and all schedules will proceed as usual.” The other spoke harshly while eyeing Jin. Namjoon was enraged. One of his members had fainted and the managers were not the least bit concerned about their health. He was about to protest when he felt a small tug on his wrist.

“Joonie…” He heard the older man call out to him softly. Immediately kneeling next to Jin, he took his hand and smiled gently. “Hyung, let’s go back.” He saw the other break into a small smile and nod slightly. Jungkook quickly shifted and helped Jin onto Namjoon’s back, pushing Jin’s hair back to wipe the sweat off his forehead.

Namjoon could hear Jin’s laboured breathing as the eldest rested his head onto his shoulder. When they got to their car he laid Jin down onto the seats at the back. “Namjoon, he cannot lie down. There is no space.” He heard the manager chiding him disapprovingly. Before he could reply, Yoongi replied curtly,” Yes, he can.” He climbed to the back and carefully placed Jin’s head onto his lap, allowing the eldest to lie on his and Namjoon’s laps. On the way back to the dorm, Jin kept mumbling with a frown on his face. Yoongi would gently rake through his hair and try to soothe the older man. The maknae line constantly turned around to glance at Jin with worry filled eyes.

Namjoon wasted no time giving out instructions once they reached home and he placed Jin onto his bed. Yoongi and Hoseok rushed to get medicine for Jin while Taehyung and Jimin prepared wet towels and water to try to bring Jin’s temperature down. Jungkook sat beside the eldest and poured small sips of water into his parted lips.

“Wha-“ Jin could feel something wet press down on his forehead and voices around him. Disorientated, he tried to sit up but was stopped by a firm hand on his shoulder. “Hyung, you should lie down and rest.” A familiar hand was raking through his hair slowly and he could feel himself falling back into unconsciousness.

When he woke up, the room was dark and empty. There was silence outside of the room. Jin groaned as he tried to pull himself up. His head was still throbbing, but it didn’t hurt as much as before. Rubbing his eyes, he tried to listen out for any signs that his band members were outside, but to no avail. Trudging his feet wearily, he headed out of his room and was surprised when he saw six heads turning toward him.

“Jin hyung! You’re awake!” Taehyung quickly rushed to his side to support in to the sofa. He whispered a soft thank you to the younger as they sat on the sofa. Jimin snuggled to his other side and brought a hand to his forehead. “Your fever seems to be better now. How are you feeling hyung?”

“I’m much better. Thank you guys.” He was tired but smiled as Taehyung shifted closer to him. Hoseok passed him a mug, filled with his favourite chamomile tea.

“Why didn’t you tell us you were sick?” Namjoon sighed. Jin instantly felt guilty and looked down to his hands. “I…The concert was coming up and I didn’t want to trouble any of you…” He whispered softly. “I’m sorry for causing so much trouble for all of you.”

Instead of yelling at him, he felt someone hugging him tightly. The maknae had somehow squeezed between him and Jimin and was burying his head into Jin’s chest. “It’s not your fault, hyung. We were all just worried when you fainted.”

“Yeah, don’t scare us like that ever again.” Yoongi tried glaring at Jin but his expression immediately softened when he took in the sight of the three youngest members snuggling up to Jin.

“I promise.” Jin smiled to himself. He loves his little family and he wouldn’t have it any other way.

And end! 🙂 I really hope you liked it because this is my first BTS fanfic 🙂 I actually don’t have a bias in BTS, though Jin holds a very special place in my heart ❤ Comments will be loved and take care!

Book 1: Changmin Chapter 7

Changmin was fine without a mate; he had been okay ever since he became a werewolf. But little did he expect his world to turn upside down when he finally met his mate.

Genre: Drama, Fluff, ot5 (Changmin-centric, Changmin/FOC, Yunjae, Everyone loves Junsu)

Chapters: Chapter 1, Chapter 2, Chapter 3, Chapter 4Chapter 5, Chapter 6Chapter 7

This chapter is more of a filler chapter more than anything but I hope you still like it!

‘Where will we go? She could be anywhere.’ Wolf asked as Changmin jogged towards the forest.

‘We could start from the place where we first met. Maybe we could go to her school?’ He suggested. Honestly, he was not sure where his mate could be.

As soon as he reached the forest, he immediately changed into a wolf and used his senses to try to locate his mate. There was a strong desire within him to go to the flower meadow within the forest (which happens to be Jaejoong’s favourite spot to hang out with Yunho). Wolf must have sensed it too because he agreed readily with Changmin.

The flower meadow was beautiful as ever, and since it was spring, there were countless flowers blooming in the area. But there was no sight of his mate and it made him confused.

‘Maybe we were wrong?’

‘No.’ Wolf stopped him. ‘Stay here for a while longer. I know we will meet her here.’

True enough, a couple of minutes later, his mate stumbled into sight. Changmin did not know whether it was because she was his mate, or whether it was how the light hit her face, but he could not tear his eyes off of her. Inching closer, he breathed in her scent and oh god did she smell lovely. Wolf pranced around excitedly as they approached her.

“You’re here!” She knelt down to pet his head again. Changmin simply whined in response, too distracted by his mate’s hand brushing through his fur. “I’ve been wanting to see you again for some reason, so I come here everyday hoping to catch a glimpse of you.”

Lying on the ground, Changmin felt blissful. The sunlight was perfect and he was finally able to see her after so long. He still did not know her name (‘How am I supposed to change in front of her and ask her?’) but he was contented just being near her like this.

Snuggling closer to her, he placed his head and front paws on her lap while she gently stroked his fur. “Your fur is beautiful. And it’s so soft too.”

Changmin did not know how they just remained there in silence, but the hours flew by and soon the sun was setting.

“I need to get going now.” She stood up and placed a light kiss on Changmin’s forehead. Wolf was elated and Changmin could not help but yelp in happiness. “I’ll see you again?” Changmin simply nodded his head eagerly. Laughing, his mate ruffled his fur one last time before she headed back down the path.

‘Well, we should get back soon too. I’m sure the others are expecting us.’ Changmin could sense that Wolf was as reluctant as he was in letting his mate go. Problem is, how was he supposed to let his mate know that he’s actually a werewolf?

Troubled, Changmin decided to sprint all the way back while blocking the rest of the pack. This was his own problems, and they did not have to share his burdens. By the time he reached the front driveway, he was panting heavily. Yoochun was standing at the porch, waiting for Changmin.

“You okay?” It did not have to take a lot for Changmin to realise that the others probably (‘There’s no probably, they already know.’ Wolf rolled his eyes.) know of his troubles.

“I’m fine.” Changmin was not the type to share all his feelings, good or bad, with the pack. Yeah sure, they might be family, but he needed his own space too.

“Okay.” Yoochun hesitated slightly. “Tell me if you need me to do anything, okay?”

Changmin sighed. He has been causing trouble for the pack for the past few weeks and even he himself could not solve his own problems. It was unfair of him to expect the pack to constantly be forgiving and accepting of him when he was being such an ass.

‘Maybe you should talk to Yunho and Jaejoong again.’ Wolf suggested.

‘No, Jae is still weak, and Yunho needs to take care of him.’ Changmin stated firmly. ‘This is my issue and I’ll solve it on my own. Besides, we are going to see the Marrock tomorrow. This can wait.’

Our dearest maknae is being closed-off again from the rest of the pack :O Honestly, I’m not quite sure how this story will progress from here (because I hadn’t thought this far when I first wrote it) but it should be okay 🙂

Comments are once again appreciated! 🙂

Book 1: Changmin Chapter 6

Changmin was fine without a mate; he had been okay ever since he became a werewolf. But little did he expect his world to turn upside down when he finally met his mate.

Genre: Drama, Fluff, ot5 (Changmin-centric, Changmin/FOC, Yunjae, Everyone loves Junsu)

Chapters: Chapter 1, Chapter 2, Chapter 3, Chapter 4Chapter 5, Chapter 6

A longer chapter this time just because 🙂 Also, some love between Junsu and Changmin hehehehe because we all know that Changmin likes teasing Junsu a lot just cos he loves his hyung XD

Changmin was definitely not a morning person. And one of his most hated things in the world was to be woken up when he has not had his full beauty sleep yet. He quickly jerked upright the moment he heard a shout. Groggy and disorientated, he stumbled into the living room, only to find an injured Jaejoong gasping for air in the living room.

Yunho was beside him, trying to stop the bleeding wounds on his mate’s chest. His eyes shined a bright golden glow, and Changmin knew Yunho was trying to keep his calm. The Alpha worked quickly, but Changmin knew he needed to call Yoohwan. Yoohwan was the pack’s doctor, and given the severity of Jaejoong’s wounds, his skills were definitely needed.

Yoohwan must have heard the commotion, as a split second later, he ran out of his room with his bag. Jaejoong’s face was pale and scrunched up in pain. Wolf growled, clearly upset that his pack member has been hurt so badly.

As Yoohwan approached Jaejoong, Yunho hissed and snarled at the Second. Placing one hand on Yunho’s shoulder, Changmin tried to calm the Alpha down. The golden almond – shaped eyes immediately softened and Yunho quickly moved aside for Yoohwan to tend to his mate. Looking at Jaejoong’s scars, they were definitely gumiho claw marks.

Wolf whined uneasily, ‘Do you think this is related to the incident before?’

“I…don’t know.” When a pack member gets hurt, the pack gets closer and everyone finds it hard to stay calm. Yunho was doing a great job not only managing his own emotions, but also stabilising the pack’s.

While werewolves heal quickly, wolves that suffer from great wounds but do not seek help quickly can still die from blood loss. Luckily, Yoohwan was extremely skilled and managed to patch Jaejoong up in no time.

“Pack meeting now.” Placing one hand on his lower back, Yunho ordered his pack while supporting his mate. Even though Jaejoong’s wounds were bandaged, he was still very pale.

Seeing that the submissive was nowhere to be seen, Changmin decided to notify him of Yunho’s orders. Upon reaching his room, however, Changmin immediately sensed that something was wrong. Junsu’s door was slightly open and Changmin could hear him sobbing quietly to himself inside. He opened the door gently, only to see Junsu sitting in a corner of the room. He had obviously not noticed the youngest entering, because as Changmin sat down in front of him, Junsu was startled and quickly wiped his tears away.

“Hey, what’s wrong? You can tell me anything.” Changmin gently placed a hand on Junsu’s shoulder. He was not very good at comforting others (that is Jaejoong’s area of expertise) and often found himself feeling awkward and useless whenever a pack member cried.

“Nothing. Didn’t Yunho call for a meeting? Let’s go.” Junsu tried to stand up and leave but Changmin was quicker.

“That can wait. I’m sure Yunho will understand.” Changmin whipped his phone out and sent a message to the Alpha. Even though he wouldn’t admit it, Changmin has always had a soft spot for the submissive. Junsu was like the glue of the pack, without him, the pack would not be able to hold everyone together.

“Now, tell me what’s wrong.” Changmin lowered himself beside Junsu, wrapping one arm around the latter’s shoulders.

“It was my fault.” Junsu whispered. “Jaejoong got injured because of me.” Tears started streaming down the cherubic face once more.

“What do you mean? He was attacked by a gumiho, wasn’t he?”

“We were out patrolling together, and I wasn’t paying attention. I didn’t even notice the gumiho presence until she was right behind me and…” Junsu clutched onto Changmin’s shirt as he wailed. “Jaejoong jumped in to save me. He got injured protecting me.”

“Hey hey it’s okay.” He hugged the upset submissive tightly. “I’m sure everyone understands.” Changmin could feel Wolf cuddling with Junsu’s and trying to calm the latter down.

“Look at me.” Grabbing Junsu’s face gently, Changmin stared into the pair of frightened eyes. “It’s not your fault. If it’s anyone’s, it’s the fault of that gumiho for messing with us, okay?”

Junsu simply nodded his head. “Thanks.” Junsu’s wolf howled in agreement and instantly Changmin felt much better.

“Shall we go to the pack meeting then? I’m sure they are still waiting for us.” Leading the way, the duo headed to the living room, where like Changmin said, the pack was waiting patiently for them.

Jaejoong looked much better than before, but was still leaning heavily onto Yunho for support. Yunho placed a firm arm around his mate, allowing Jaejoong to lean onto his shoulder. When he noticed the duo enter the room, he broke into a small smile.

“You’re here.” Yoochun shifted himself to make some room for the pair.

“Su, are you okay?” As soon as Jaejoong asked that question, tears starting welling up in Junsu’s eyes again.

“Hyung, I’m so sorry!” The submissive ran up and gave Jaejoong a big hug. “Sorry sorry sor-“

“Hey, you have nothing to be sorry about. I’m fine.” Changmin was grateful that Jaejoong interrupted Junsu’s rambling (because it can go on for hours). The Alpha’s mate placed a light kiss on Junsu’s forehead, while Yunho patted his head. Junsu whined slightly before settling back to sit beside Yoochun, who grabbed onto the submissive’s hand for support.

“I’m guessing you all know why we are having this pack meeting today.” Yunho addressed. The mood in the room suddenly turned sombre and Wolf shifted uneasily.

“We had the same gumiho problem a few days ago, but this time, they have taken it too far. I won’t stand for it when my pack is hurt.” The Alpha’s eyes burnt a bright golden and Jaejoong immediately put his hand on the Alpha’s. Almost instantly, the gold specks faded and Yunho gave a sigh before giving Jaejoong a small peck on his lips gratefully. “The Marrock has called for a meeting with the surrounding packs in the region and we will be leaving tomorrow.”

‘Tomorrow? That’s too soon!’ Wolf huffed. Changmin agreed readily. He had planned to go visit his mate (‘You mean you want to stalk her like a creepy pervert.’ Wolf snickered.) but now everything had to be put on hold.

Yunho must have sensed that something was amiss as he quickly glanced at Changmin. “Nothing will be planned for today. Jae needs to rest and I’m sure you have some loose ends to tie up too.”

Changmin smiled and mouthed a small thank you. He has always been grateful and thankful for being in such a welcoming pack, and Yunho and Jaejoong have been so incredibly patient and accepting of all of them.

So I also post my fics on Deviantart 🙂 I would really appreciate it if you would go check it out! Comments are also greatly appreciated. ❤

Chapter 5! A short chapter this time cos I wanted the chapters to flow better 🙂 Comments are always appreciated!

“I think…I know I found my mate.” Not wanting to waste any more time, Changmin decided to just open up and bare it all to the duo. He could sense a slight shock that was quickly covered up. He dared not look at their faces, choosing to face the floor. He was embarrassed, worried and scared that they, his family, would choose to abandon him.

Wolf whined. He was not used to submission and was definitely not happy with Changmin’s decision. Yet, he was sensible enough to kneel and submit to the Alpha’s Wolf and his mate so as to respect Yunho’s dominance.

A hand gently cupped his face, causing him to gaze into a pair of almond coloured eyes. “This…This is what you’ve been keeping from us?”

‘Alpha sounds upset,’ Wolf cried.

“Yes.” It was barely more than a whisper but Changmin was sure that the pair heard it. He could feel the tears forming and pricking his lashes. He never felt so ashamed, so embarrassed ever.

“Min, look at me.” Unwillingly, Changmin raised his head. Instead, Yunho was smiling so gently. Jaejoong immediately enveloped Changmin in a tight hug, cocooning him in a sense of warmth and security he had not felt in a while.

“Why?” He knew he was barely coherent, as he kept repeating his question over and over while he sobbed. Changmin could not understand – why and how could Yunho and Jaejoong be so open – minded and forgiving of him?

“Because no matter what, you are our baby boy.” Jaejoong kissed his forehead. “And honestly, we love each and every one of you so much.”

“You’re not upset?” By now, Changmin had calmed down significantly (due to Jaejoong’s innate and wonderful ability to do so).

“How could we ever be?” His Alpha answered. “Maybe we were a little disappointed that you chose to keep it to yourself, but no, we will never be upset with who you are.”

Through the pack bonds, Changmin could feel acceptance and encouragement from everyone. “See, I told you they wouldn’t chase you out.” Junsu walked into the Alpha’s room and sat beside Changmin. “You’re too important to lose.” As the older male petted his head, Changmin hummed in agreement.

Changmin closed his eyes as he felt a gentle hand stoking his hair. Wolf mewed as the gesture calmed him down. Jaejoong started first, with one hand on Changmin and the other in Yunho’s, he started humming. Slowing, the others picked up on it; Yunho joined in first, gazing into Jaejoong’s eyes. Junsu’s addition helped balance with Yunho’s lower base notes. Lastly, a low baritone voice was heard (which Changmin knew was Yoochun’s. Only question was when did he come into the room?) and Changmin instinctively nuzzled closer to the Alpha and his mate, slowly being lulled to sleep.

Super short chapter so sorry! >.< Thanks for reading and sticking with me through this story hehe 🙂

Book 1: Changmin Chapter 4

Changmin was fine without a mate; he had been okay ever since he became a werewolf. But little did he expect his world to turn upside down when he finally met his mate.

Genre: Drama, Fluff, ot5 (Changmin-centric, Changmin/FOC, Yunjae, Everyone loves Junsu)

Chapters: Chapter 1, Chapter 2, Chapter 3, Chapter 4

Here is Chapter 4! This is a work that I am super happy about and I would love to hear your comments and reviews! 🙂

True enough, as soon as Changmin stepped through the front door, Yunho and Jaejoong were waiting for him in the living room.

“How’s the patrol?” Yunho spoke first.

“It…um…it was…okay.” Changmin stuttered. (“The one thing Changmin doesn’t do well is lie.” As Junsu likes to put it.)

Instead of questioning him further, the pack Alpha simply placed a hand on his shoulder and gave him an understanding smile before walking away. Jaejoong followed behind him, but not before giving Changmin a small hug.

‘They know.’

‘Yes, but they are giving you space.’ Wolf gently reminded him. ‘Yunho is a good Alpha.’ And Changmin couldn’t agree more.

Changmin spent the next few days desperately trying to push his feelings down. He was feeling a constant desire to meet and see his mate again (‘You didn’t even get her name. How are you going to find her?’ Wolf smirked, causing Changmin to huff in annoyance.) and he could not concentrate on anything. The pack could sense that something was wrong but they were kind enough to give him space and not push him to reveal everything.

Though he appreciated everyone’s intentions, the sense of desire and longing for his mate eventually overcame him. Banging loudly on Junsu’s door, he let himself in even before the latter said anything.

“I was waiting for you to come, you know?” Junsu spoke softly, lying on his bed and reading a book. He turned around to face Changmin and smiled.

Sighing, Changmin sank to the ground. “It’s complicated.”

“I can deal with complicated.” Junsu closed his book. As the submissive of the pack, Junsu was like the glue that held everyone together. He helped to calm the pack down and listened to everyone’s troubles.

“I’m not sure how to put it across…” Changmin hesitated. “Do you promise not to tell anyone about it?”

Junsu gave a warm smile. “I promise.”

“I…I found my mate.” Not knowing how to put it across in words, Changmin decided that it was easier to show it to Junsu instead. He recounted that fateful encounter to the elder pack member through the pack bonds, trying to shield the other members out.

Junsu gasped. “Your mate! You need to tell Yunho.”

“I know. But what if…” What if Yunho kicks me out?

Apparently, Junsu was thinking the exact same question. Placing a hand on the youngest’s shoulder, he gave Changmin a reassuring smile. “I’m sure Yunho wouldn’t. You know he wouldn’t.”

Wolf whined in agreement. ‘Yunho will understand. The pack will understand.’

“Thanks.” Changmin hugged the submissive. He didn’t talk to Junsu as often as he should have (when he had troubles) but everytime he did, Junsu seemed to be able to solve all his issues for him.

Slowly closing the door behind him, Changmin walked with heavy steps into the kitchen, in search of the Alpha. Jaejoong was preparing dinner and the said Alpha had his arms around the older man’s waist, face buried into his neck. Yunho was whispering into his mate’s ear, causing the older man to giggle slightly. Just as he was about to leave to give the couple some privacy, they noticed his presence and immediately broke away.

“What’s wrong, Min?” Yunho’s usually calm voice had a worried tone to it. Not that Changmin could blame him, considering that he had hid the truth from the pack for weeks.

“I…I need to talk to you. Both of you.” He whispered. Part of him felt guilty, guilty for having hid such an important truth from his Alpha; another part of him felt scared, scared of what would happen if his Alpha did not accept him. Immediately, the two was at his side.

“We’ll talk in the room.” Yunho grasped onto Changmin’s hand firmly and for once, the younger man submitted willingly. Even Wolf felt the pressure of Yunho’s authoritative aura.

“Yun.” Jaejoong placed a hand onto the Alpha’s shoulder as they sat on the bed. Almost instantly, Changmin could sense the tension in the air disappearing and he was grateful to Jaejoong for that. While Yunho was one of the best Alphas out there, like all other Alphas, he was sometimes unable to control his temper when his dominance was threatened.

Luckily for him (and the rest of the pack), Jaejoong was doing an excellent job of being Yunho’s mate. As the Alpha’s mate, Jaejoong helped to calm the pack leader down and also ensured things were in order when the Alpha was not around.

Giving a long sigh, Yunho faced Jaejoong and gave him a small but knowing smile before looking back at Changmin again. “Sorry Min, did I scare you?”

“No, no that doesn’t matter.” Changmin hesitated. “I have something to tell you and…”

“Hey, it’s okay. You know that no matter what happens, you’ll always be our dearest maknae.” Jaejoong gave him a big hug. “And I’ll definitely protect you from this big bad wolf over here.” He signalled to Yunho, who appeared offended, earning a chuckle from Changmin.

Once again, thanks for reading! Please help this story grow by giving your reviews and comments!

Chapter 3! 🙂 As always, comments and reviews are appreciated! Since school will be starting in a couple of months, I’m hoping that I can still post this story regularly…but I’ll try!

“They should be here somewhere…oh my god!” Changmin had leapt onto someone (or something) and growled. A strange feeling overcame him and Wolf howled. Quickly backing away, Changmin frowned.

A wave of warmth swept through him and he felt giddy. Subconsciously, Changmin felt an innate desire to relax and let his guard down. It was an unfamiliar feeling, but yet it felt good.

‘Min, it’s our mate.’ Wolf gasped in horror as Changmin finally looked down at his prey.

It was a young girl, looking absolutely terrified, with a backpack and map in her hand. Shocked, Changmin took a few more steps backwards.

‘How could it be? She’s a…’ Changmin couldn’t believe his eyes. He had heard of werewolves having humans as mates, but it occurred very rarely. Werewolves outlived humans by centuries and it was hard for a wolf to continue living on after their mate has passed on. There was a wolf, Siwon, in Kangin’s pack, who had a human mate. When his human mate passed away, he secluded himself from the pack for hundreds of years before returning recently. Changmin was not sure how to react in a situation like this.

The young girl looked at Changmin curiously. “Are you okay?” she reached a hand out to pat his head. Changmin knew that it was wrong for them to interact with humans, but he could not help but scoot a little closer to the girl.

‘This feels good.’ Wolf nuzzled and Changmin unconsciously let out another whine.

She let out a laugh and continued patting him. “Could you help me? I was supposed to be here on a school trip but I lost my group.”

Instinctively, Changmin wanted to back away. He knew it was too dangerous for humans to see them (worse still, to help them! Imagine how mad Yunho would be!) but he could not just leave this young defenceless girl alone (‘You just want to spend more time with your mate.’ Wolf huffed.) Whining, he nuzzled closer to his mate and felt the same warmness he felt earlier. Motioning to his left, he whined again.

“You want me to follow you?” The girl stood up. Changmin nodded and continued to lead her out, glancing back every now and then to make sure she was following. His mate kept a hand on his back, which made him feel slight tingles down his spine. As they approached the edge of the forest, Changmin started to slow down.

“Thank you for your help.” She knelt down and kissed his forehead, causing Wolf to yelp in happiness.

Not wanting to part, Changmin growled lowly and scooted closer to her. Laughing, his mate hugged him one final time before she stood up. “I’ll come back to visit you again, okay?” Changmin watched as she safely left the forest and rejoined her group of high school students before he turned around and left.

‘We found our mate!’ Wolf chirped ecstatically. ‘Let’s go back and tell the pack!’

Changmin stopped right on his track. ‘What’s wrong?’ Wolf asked.

‘What are we going to tell the pack? I…We can’t tell them that we have a human mate!’

‘Why not?’

‘Because…because it’s not normal! What if they all hate me after that because of this?’ Changmin roared. He was worried and anxious of how the pack would respond to this.

‘Maybe we shouldn’t tell them yet…not until we are ready.’ Wolf suggested.

‘It’s not going to work. They probably already know what’s wrong.’ One of the downsides of being a werewolf is that everyone had access to everyone’s minds and it was difficult to keep secrets. The pack had probably already sensed Changmin’s mood shifts and understood what had happened. (‘Especially Jaejoong, he’s too perceptive for his own good.’ Wolf huffed in annoyance.)

‘Let’s just head back for now. I’ll think of something to say when they ask me about it.’ Changmin sighed and quickly ran back to the lodge.

Hope you liked it~ 😀

Book 1: Changmin Chapter 2

Chapters: Chapter 1, Chapter 2

So here’s chapter 2~ Comments and reviews are always appreciated! 🙂

The sound of the doors opening break his chain of thought and a wide smile appeared on Yoochun’s face. Seconds later, a familiar hand was on his shoulder.

“We saved some pizza for you. Want me to heat it up for you?” Junsu asked as he stood up to head to the kitchen.

“That’ll be great. Thanks.” Changmin noted the slight strain in Yoohwan’s usually gentle voice and the slight frown that spread across his brother’s face.

‘They’ll tell us. When they are ready.’ Wolf reminds him softly, just as Changmin was about to ask Yoochun about it.

There was a slight ripple of displeasure that flooded through the pack bonds, and instinctively, Changmin growled. He felt Yunho’s presence and comfort, and almost instantly, he found himself calming down.

‘Pack meeting. Now.’ The Alpha still sounded calm but the youngest knew that it was probably due to Jaejoong (who has some innate ability to make his leader be at peace).

Taking a sneak glance at the brothers, he noticed that Yoohwan looked a lot more distressed than a few seconds ago. Even with Yoochun having a hand on his back, Yoohwan was panicking and there were gold specks in his eyes. Changmin knew that when his eyes were completely gold, his wolf had taken over and nothing good could come out of it.

‘Panicking won’t make anything better. Trust Yunho.’ Wolf nudged him as Changmin made his way to the living room. Yunho and Jaejoong were already there.

“Min.” Yunho nodded his head to acknowledge his presence and motioned for him to take a seat. Gradually, the pack arrived at the living room and a wave of calm flooded across the room. Changmin noted that Yoohwan had calmed down visibly, even though Yoochun still continued to place a hand protectively on his brother’s shoulder.

“There has been a slight problem.” Yunho sighed. “Yoohwan, do you want to address the pack?”

“There was a…a body of a wolf. A young one, I think. I found him when I was coming back from work. And then…” Yoohwan shuddered.

“And then he noticed a gumiho presence in the area.” Yoochun growled, noticing that his brother was unable to continue.

“You don’t think she…she killed him, do you?” Junsu squeaked. Yunho immediately relieved everyone’s anxiety and Junsu let out a small sigh.

“What do we do?” Changmin glanced at Yunho. Gumihos are not nice by nature and the two species have had feuds in the past. But it was always better to coexist peacefully and Changmin knew that Yunho would never choose to fight unless the pack was threatened.

“We’ll wait. Observe. If need be, I’ll call Kangin.” Kangin was the marrock and not a force to be reckoned with. As marrock, he had authority and control over the packs in the surrounding region, including Yunho’s.

“Yunho and I will go investigate the body. We will need Yoohwan to lead us there.” Jaejoong laid a hand on Yoohwan’s shoulder. “And yes, you can come with us.” He gently added after sensing Yoochun’s discomfort.

“Min, I need you to scout the area and see if you sense anything out of the ordinary. Su, stay and hold the fort. We will be back soon.” Yunho instructed as he stood up.

Nodding his head, Changmin checked in with his wolf. Shape shifting was never easy, but Changmin loved the freedom that came along with it. Being a wolf meant that he could travel much easier (“And because he has a great body,” Junsu added sulking) and Wolf readily agreed with him.

Leaping into the driveway, he quickly changed and sped into the woods. It had rained the night before, so the grass was wet and muddy, causing Wolf to whine in displeasure.

Taking quick glances around, Changmin sniffed the air. There was something amiss and Wolf immediately tensed up.

‘Something smells sweet.’ Wolf warned. ‘Be careful.’

Being a werewolf meant that they had heightened senses and Changmin often used it to his advantage when scouting. There was a slight rustling of the leaves and the snapping of twigs that indicated to him of another presence.

‘And it’s coming closer. Behind the bushes.’ Changmin inched his way closer and bared his fangs. Wolf snarled in response and prepared for attack.

Book 1: Changmin Chapter 1

Hi! So I’ve been wanting to attempt to write a long series for a while, but never got around to doing it because the last time I wrote a series fanfic was a few years ago. I decided to try writing one, and have worked on this series for a long time! 🙂 Super proud of it, even though it’s not even finished yet.

From the title, yes this is book 1. And this series will surround Changmin, and his point of view. I’m not sure how many books there will be in this series, but hopefully it will be a long one and I hope you will stay with me throughout this whole ride. 😀 Also I would like to thank caleyedoscope for inspiring this fanfic. I read her series Clair De Lune (http://caleyedoscope.livejournal.com/20253.html) and was very very inspired by it. This fanfic is not set in the same universe as hers, but I would like to thank her for the inspiration. 🙂

Comments/reviews/suggestions are always appreciated and I would love to hear from you! If you would like to suggest anything for the plot/how the story should proceed, I would be glad to hear it. The story is still being written so there are definitely areas that can be improved and changed. 🙂 ❤

Chapters: Chapter 1Chapter 2

Changmin growled. He was tired and hungry, but dinner was not ready. And he blamed Jaejoong.

The Jaejoong that was supposed to be preparing dinner but was too busy. Too busy groping and kissing his Yunho. His mate.

‘Well, maybe you should get a mate too.’ Wolf smirked.

‘Shut up. I know what I need to do.’

Changmin had been mateless for a long time. A really long time. When he first met (and eventually joined) Yunho, he was but a young cub, a couple of years old. The older Alpha had guided him and took him under his wing when he had nowhere else to go.

‘Even Yunho has his mate.’ Wolf gently nudged him.

The Alpha had recently found out that Jaejoong was his mate after the latter opened up to the pack. The two eldest pack members had spent the past few weeks mating and just being disgustingly flirty around each other.

‘I said shut up.’ Changmin hissed at his wolf. He was very hungry and mating was definitely not a priority now. Jaejoong had promised him dinner at 6. It was 8pm and nothing was served.

“Why not we order take out? I doubt those two would be done anytime soon.” Yoochun walked into the living room and petted Changmin’s head. “Come on, stop frowning. I’ll let you choose what to order, okay?”

A wide grin immediately spread across his face. Being the youngest in the pack usually pissed him off but it has its perks sometimes as well. And one of the best ones was that the rest usually gave in to him easily.

“I want pizza. The kind that Jaejoong hates.” This time, Yoochun chuckled.

“Really, Min? Sometimes I really wonder if you’re a petty five year old.”

Wolf whined. He was not submissive by nature (“Too willful and stubborn,” as Jaejoong likes to say), but Yoochun’s rank was higher than his, and Changmin couldn’t defy him.

Within minutes, the pizza arrived and even the frisky couple (name courtesy of Yoochun) couldn’t resist coming out of their room (technically Yunho’s but since Jaejoong spends close to 90% of his time in there, it’s kind of shared).

“Yah Shim Changmin! You ordered this on purpose! You know I hate pepperoni!” Jaejoong screamed in frustration and launched at the youngest.

“Yay pizza!” Junsu, their oblivious submissive, quickly plopped at the dining table and helped himself to the meal. As Yunho came out of his room (half-naked, but Changmin was too busy defending himself to care), he stopped to ruffle Junsu’s hair before placing another kiss on Jaejoong’s lips, quickly calming the latter down.

“I’m sure Changmin knows he’s wrong, doesn’t he?” The Alpha just sent him a small smile. “Come on, we can cook ourselves a meal and spend some time in the kitchen. Alone.” His mate just whined in response before following him to the kitchen.

“Do we need to leave any for them?” Junsu had taken the time to hog the largest pizza to himself and was busy stuffing his face with it.

“Well, knowing Jae, those two would probably not be hungry after they are done feeding on one another.” Yoochun took a big bite out of his slice. “But save some for Yoohwan. He should be coming back soon.”

Changmin remembered the day Yoochun and Yoohwan joined the pack. They had clearly been attacked, and were coated with dried blood, dirt and mud as they limped into the driveway. The pack had been welcoming, but it took months before the two brothers revealed what happened to the pack.

“We are mates.” Yoohwan had wrapped his arm protectively around his older brother. “We were kicked out of our old pack after they found out.”

Incest was a taboo and especially so between werewolves. No one said anything but Yunho, their loving and oh-so-forgiving Alpha, just simply embraced the two. He remembered Yoochun breaking down (Yoochun has always been a cry baby) and how Yunho just kept repeating the same phrase “You are always welcomed here.”

Since then, Yoohwan assumed the role of the Second in Yunho’s pack, and as his mate, Yoochun assumed the same rank as his brother.

‘Well, they seem much happier now too. Maybe getting a mate will make you happy too?’ Wolf has been bugging Changmin to get his mate for a long time. He would not say it aloud, but truthfully, he agrees with Wolf.

A wolf that does not have a mate is like living a life without colour – it’s not unlivable, but not exciting. He has known of some werewolves who chose to live in recluse, alone without a pack or a mate. While they did certainly enjoy a greater degree of freedom, a lone wolf faced a great deal of danger especially when attacked by large and hostile packs. Furthermore, the loneliness of years of living alone can catch up with oneself and it is not pleasant.

‘You make me happy. The pack makes me happy. I don’t need a mate.’ He quickly stuffed his feelings as deep as possible, hoping that Wolf would just drop the matter.

‘For now.’ Wolf gently reminded him.

Summary: Dan knew that he was at fault, but he would never apologise. After all, his pride was always in the way. Things eventually got heated between him and Phil, resulting in hurtful comments made.

Genre: Hurt, fluff at the end

Note: Italics means it’s Dan’s thoughts.

————————————————————————–

Dan was never one to apologise. He knew he was at fault. He knew that he was wrong for leaving the stove unattended. And he knew he was supposed to apologise to a fuming Phil standing in front of him.

But yet, strangely enough, he couldn’t.

“Dan! It was so irresponsible of you to just leave the stove on while you went to sleep!”

“Well, I didn’t intend to sleep. I just kind of…dozed off.”

“Stop giving excuses! What would have happened if I didn’t come home in time? You could have been burnt to death!”

“Jesus Christ, Phil, you don’t have to be so dramatic.” Dan rolled his eyes. It was so typical of Phil to over-exaggerate everything.

“That’s so you. You are always so irresponsible and you never do anything right!” Dan couldn’t believe his ears. The usually calm and sweet Phil was pointing out all his faults.

“Oh yeah, what about yourself? You’re so clumsy and weak, if I wasn’t here for you, you would have died in some freak accident a long time ago! You’re so great, aren’t you? Fine, I’ll show you that I don’t need you to survive!”

Before he knew it, he had already spat out the hurtful words into Phil’s face. Hurt flashed on Phil’s face.

“You don’t need me?” He whispered, with tears threatening to fall from his eyes.

“Phil, that’s not what I mean-” Dan reached his hand out to comfort Phil but the latter pulled back.

“No, that’s exactly what you mea! You’re all grown up now, you don’t need me anymore!”

“Phil, please, listen to me-”

“No! Get out! I don’t want to see you ever again!” Phil turned his back on Dan as he pointed to the door.

In his heart, he knew he was wrong. He knew that he had to apologise. But his pride wouldn’t allow him to.

“Fine.” Dan grabbed his wallet and phone as he walked out.

The moment he stepped out into the street, he regretted his decision. The icy cold wind of the London air caused him to shiver and sneeze as he tried to desperately keep himself warm by wrapping his arms around him.

“Fuck!” How he wished he never fought with Phil. He would still have been warm and comfy, probably snuggling up beside Phil now.

Now, what am I supposed to do?

You could go back and apologise to Phil. He’s not a petty person, he’ll probably forgive you.

It’s his fault for starting the fight first!

Well, but he was stating the truth right? Plus you were the one who hurt him!

“But…there’s no way I’m going back so soon!” Dan sighed to himself as he settled onto a park bench. Looking at his phone, he gasped as he noticed there were 50 missed calls and texts.

“Dan, where are you? You didn’t bring your jacket…and I know it’s cold outside.”

“Dan, I’m so sorry. Please come back okay?”

“Dan, I miss you already. Please, I’m begging you, just come back alright? I’ll change, I promise!”

“Dan, please don’t ignore me. Come back!”

“Dan, if you’re reading this, just know that I am very sorry for everything. I promise you that I will never ever do that again. Just…just come home soon okay? Or reply me at least so that I know you are safe.”

Tears slowly pooled in Dan’s eyes as he read each and every one of the messages. Guilt welled up inside him as he slowly got up from the bench, trudging himself home. He couldn’t believe that Phil actually blamed himself for what happened.

“Spork.” Dan muttered softly under his breath as he hesitated at the front door of their apartment.

What should I say?

“Fuck it, what’s the worst that can happen?” He opened the door in one swift motion and was immediately tackled to the ground.

“Dan! You’re back! I’m so sorry, please forgive me! Please don’t ever leave me alone again!” Phil rambled on as he was a sobbing mess. As Dan slowly registered what was going on, he rubbed circles on Phil’s back.

“You spork, why are you saying sorry? It was my fault and I know I was wrong for being so irresponsible and defensive and terrible and horrible and-” Dan’s rambling was cut off by a passionate kiss from Phil.

“Mmph…Phil…I just wanted to say that I’m sorry.”

“I know and it’s okay. Because I forgive you for everything.” Dan snuggled himself closer to Phil as he smiled to himself.

“Let’s cuddle in bed okay? I’m freezing right now.” Dan whined and Phil let out a loud laugh.

“Okay bear. Let’s go.” Phil carried Dan up as the younger man snuggled even closer to him.

“I love you, bear.” Not hearing any reply, Phil looked down only to see that Dan had fallen asleep. Chuckling to himself, Phil tried to climb up the steps as softly as possibly. Placing Dan on the bed, he covered both of them with the duvet and kissed Dan.

“Goodnight bear.”
